Precision Hot Die Handling |
The cold die is placed on the preparation table. The manual
crane is used to place it on the reference table. The auto crane picks it
up and moves it into the oven where is is heated. Once hot, the cart transfers
it to the press where the part is formed. Before entering the press, the
die is laser aligned to within 0.5mm (at 900 degrees) of the press table
datum. Once the press had completed, the crane returns the die to the oven
where it is cooled down. Once sufficiently cool, the die is returned to
the reference table where it is removed by the manual crane.
