Multiple Winder Unloading with Divert |
Several winders are unloaded onto a central conveyor where the reels are diverted to the selected packing area and placed on pallets.
Each winder has an unload cart which strips the reels from the winding shafts, and upends them onto the flat surface. The winder has an HMI where the reel size and destination are entered and the unload cycle started. The reels are then moved to the central conveyor where they join the other reels waiting to be packaged. Based on the destination, they are diverted to one of the three packing areas. The operators manually pack the reels onto pallets. A supervisory HMI monitors the whole system.
